Sinopse

It was a real pleasure to read the book draft. I specially appreciated to realize that it is possible combining advanced topics with simplicity and pedagogy. Authors cover, present, analyze, compare and discuss, sell experiences state of the art discretization techniques but also some advanced and recent strategies based on the use of model order reduction, where 4 main techniques are described combining precision and simplicity and applied in a number of examples, addressing many valuable bibliographical references. I’m convinced that reader will appreciate a lot this monograph because it allows in a very short time and investment being able to implement standard and less standard discretization techniques for solving problem of interest in building physics and other branches of engineering sciences.
